Geiko and Maiko at Touzan
Hyatt Regency Kyoto is truly happy to introduce to the guests, especially those from overseas, a special dinner experience with the traditional art and entertainment of Geiko and Maiko in the international tourist city of Kyoto, Japan’s ancient capital. This two-hour dinner will take place in the hotel’s Japanese restaurant Touzan every Monday, except national holidays, for a limited period of three months, starting in September.
The exclusive meal makes it possible for guests to hear Geiko and Maiko sing, watch them dance, play traditional games with them and take a photo with them (guests will receive a complimentary gift of the photo as an unforgettable souvenir). The MC and interpreter will be on hand throughout, offering guests an introduction of Geiko and Maiko and distributing a written summary so that guests can understand them better.
This special dinner will be prepared by our experienced executive chef, Shaun Keenan, and the menu will be a Western-style, but use seasonal Kyoto ingredients. Not only staying guests but also anyone from outside is welcomed to experience the dinner comfortably at individual tables.
